Once an assessment has been created and assigned, you navigate to your Assigned Areas to complete the necessary questions and upload supporting media. Assigned Areas are specific locations within a campus, such as buildings, rooms, or outdoor spaces, that require evaluation.
Accessing Assigned Areas on MyClass
Understanding Area Layouts
Assignable areas include:
Campus Level- High-level assessment covering the entire premises or institution.
Building Level- Evaluates security and safety measures of a particular building.
Room Level- Detailed assessment of specific rooms.
Answering Area-Specific Questions
For each assigned area, you may encounter:
Yes/No questions
Text responses
Image uploads for verification
Dynamic questions (adjust based on previous answers)
Adding Supporting Media:
Upload photos to provide visual evidence.
Attach notes to clarify responses.
Include documents if required.
Tracking Area Completion
Your progress is tracked in real-time:
Not Started- No questions answered yet.
In Progress- Some questions answered, but not complete.
Completed- All required questions answered.
You can revisit any incomplete areas before submitting the final assessment.
Troubleshooting Navigation Issues
I can’t find my assigned area.
Check if you’re in the Assessment's page and switch between Ongoing and Completed section.
Confirm your assignment with your campus administrator
My area progress isn’t saving properly.
Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
Click the "Save" or "X" button
