Assign a Follow Up

Flag issues and delegate tasks to team members

Once an issue is flagged for Follow Up, you can assign it to a team member and set a due date to ensure timely resolution. Assigning Follow Ups helps maintain accountability and track progress effectively.

Why Assign Follow Ups?

  • Ensures Responsibilities are Clear- Designate the right team member for each task.

  • Keeps Track of Deadlines- Set due dates to ensure timely completion.

  • Enhances Collaboration- Allows team members to add updates, notes, and media.


How to Assign a Follow Up & Due Date

On Mobile

  1. Open the MyClass app and go to the Assessments tab.

  2. Select an assessment

  3. Navigate to the Area Question that requires Follow Up.

  4. Tap on the Follow Up icon.

  5. Tap "Assign User", then select a user from the list.

  6. Tap "Set Due Date" and pick a deadline.

  7. Save the changes.

On Desktop

  1. Log in to MyClass and open the assessment tab.

  2. Choose to an active assessment

  3. In the assessment overview select an area from the list

  4. Click Open Questions at the top right

  5. Navigate to a Question that requires Follow-Up.

  6. Click on the Follow Up icon

  7. Click "Assign User".

  8. Choose a team member from the list and click Assign.

  9. Click "Set Due Date", then pick a deadline from the calendar.

  10. Click Save to confirm the assignment.


Troubleshooting Follow Up Assignment Issues

I can’t assign a Follow Up

  • Ensure you have the ability to edit the assessment.

  • Confirm the team member you’d like to assign is part of the campus and has the necessary access.

An assigned member can't see their Follow Up

  • Refresh the page or restart the app.

  • Ensure they are checking the Follow Ups tab in their assessments.

I need to change the assigned member

  • Open the Follow Up and select a different team member from the dropdown menu.

  • Save the changes to update the assignment.
